Field Trips to the River

Field Trips along the Kings River are available for all grade levels!  Primary  curriculum and activities are aligned to California State NGSS and Common Core standards for grades 1-6 and are designed to enhance your classroom learning through hands-on experiences.  Special activities can be arranged for other grade levels if desired.

Get Outdoors! Program

With funding from the California Natural Resource's Agency through the Youth Community Access Grant, the Youth Led Program provides opportunities for local youth to fully experience the Kings River.  Monthly Saturday program dates are family friendly, and lunch and transportation are available for all youth participants!

Custom Programs

Design a custom program for your group!  Whether you have Scout group looking to earn a specific badge, a club looking for a hands-on learning experience, or a group of friends who want to enjoy the Kings River together, we can create a program for you!  Examples of available program activities include:

  • Fishing or fly fishing

  • Birding nature walk

  • Teambuilding and leadership skills

  • Nature journaling or art

  • Guided meditation

  • Riverfront yoga
