Champions of Access

The Champions of Access program is an opportunity for local businesses to support public access and conservation along the Lower Kings River.  

​

Each month a different Champion of Access is featured in Kings River Conservancy communications and outreach, on signage at various public access sites along the River, and at free monthly education and recreation programs.

​

During the month of sponsorship:

  • Metal signs displaying your company's logo at public access sites

  • Large poster display of your company's logo and basic company information in Champions of Access display boxes at public access sites​

  • Recognition in Kings River Conservancy's monthly KVPR radio spot, newsletter, and social media posts

Benefits of Sponsorship

Year round:

  • Recognition on Kings River Conservancy website

  • Small logo display in Champions of Access display boxes at public access sites

​

End of year:

  • Recognition at Moonlight Over the River dinner

  • Recognition in end of year letter/report

Your $4,000 sponsorship supports trail and facility maintenance, conservation and habitat restoration, and free public recreation and education activities.

Champions of the Kings

The Champions of the Kings program is an opportunity to bring friends, family, and neighbors together in support of the Kings River through community-based fundraising.​​​​

Champions are advocates for access, education, recreation and conservation.

How it works:

  • Pledge to become a Champion of the Kings and set your fundraising goal of $10,000+

  • Create your personalized Champions of the Kings crowdfunding page from template by sharing your Kings River story

  • Host a fundraising event in your community (Kings River Conservancy staff will help you plan!) or ask others to match your donation towards your goal amount

Benefits of Becoming a Champion

  • Metal Champion of the Kings sign to display on your property

  • Recognition of your campaign and supporting donors on Kings River Conservancy website

  • Special newsletter and social media posts in celebration of your completed campaign

  • Sponsor table or tickets to Moonlight Over the River dinner and recognition at the event

  • Option to create a video tribute describing why you became a champion to be used on website and shown at Moonlight Over the River 

Funds raised through the Champions of the Kings program support Kings River Conservancy programs and projects connecting local communities to the river and conserving our most vital natural resource.
